According to a study by LinkedIn, 53% of workers would remain unconvinced despite receiving a pay increase, and nearly two-thirds (58%) of workers would not work for an organisation that does not share their values.

Work-life balance (62%), professional progression and learning (43%), and equality, diversity, and inclusion (37%) are among employees' top objectives when looking for a job. In the UK, two-thirds of individuals believe it is vital to work for a firm that shares their values.

A total of 3,032 workers were surveyed by LinkedIn in December 2022, 2,038 in December 2022, and 2,066 in March 2023.

Its findings corroborated research by corporate purpose software company Benevity, which found that 83% of customers would be more loyal to a company that helped them address social issues and that 64% of Millennials would reject a job if it did not have a strong corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy.
